Showing as part of Reflections: A Roger Deakins retrospective - a series of films celebrating the cinematography of Dartmouth’s Academy Award Winner. A boy in New York is taken in by a wealthy family after his mother is killed in a bombing at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. In a rush of panic, he steals 'The Goldfinch', a painting that eventually draws him into a world of crime. This classic screening is presented as part of Dartmouth Book Festival 2026 – at which Sir Roger will be talking about his new book: Reflections.
